Introducing our new Adult B'nai Mitzvah Program - begins September, 2011
It's often said that youth is wasted on the young. That's why it's with great pleasure that we announce the start of our newly developed Adult B'nai Mitzvah program this September.
The program is an 18-month commitment for those who want to enrich their Jewish life, expand their connection to the JRC community and are interested in a meaningful Jewish learning experience. With the rest of the class, you'll prepare for this transformative experience by developing a strong understanding of and appreciation for Jewish tradition through the exploration and integration of prayer, holidays, life-cycle events, history, Shabbat, and spirituality into your daily life.
Any adult JRC member can participate in the Adult B'nai Mitzvah program - even if you had a bar or bat mitzvah as a kid, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a grown-up perspective. And it's a wonderful bonding experience as well; many of JRC's previous adult b'nai mitzvah classes continue to get together to pray, learn and socialize.
