About the Phonathon
Our annual Hanukkah Phonathon is one of JRC's most significant fundraising activities, raising $40,000 each year. During the Phonathon, JRC volunteers call each household with the goal of 100% participation. If you prefer not to be called, simply return the Gam Yachad form with your contribution or click here to donate online.

Why the Phonathon Matters
At JRC (as at most synagogues), income from dues covers only a portion of the annual budget - less than 60%, in fact. We also have a longstanding policy that no one will be turned away from JRC because of an inability to pay full dues - an important expression of our values as an inclusive and welcoming Jewish community. Your additional financial support during our Phonathon helps fund the variety of programs and services that draw each of us to JRC and also sustains our longstanding commitment to welcoming all who wish to participate.

New in 2011
This year, we're excited to combine the traditional Phonathon with our Gam Yachad/Together as One Campaign (which, in Spring 2011 - its first year - raised $27,000). That means that this winter you'll have the opportunity to direct your end-of-year donation to the area of congregational life that means the most to you, be it early childhood, religious school, adult education, tikkun olam, the library, or general operations.

In addition to bringing these two successful fundraisers together, this year's Phonathon also offers you the opportunity to join JRC's Circle of Chai - a group of JRC members who are willing and able to support JRC with a financial contribution of $1000 above dues. Circle membership does not denote wealth, but rather a special regard for JRC.

Gam Yachad we can help JRC remain an energetic and diverse community. We thank you for your generosity.
