JRC offers two exciting programs for our High School students -- Dinner and Discussion with Rabbi Rosen and Teen Svara. All High School students can attend both programs.
Dinner and Discussion with the Rabbi
This is a wonderful opportunity for our 9th through 12th graders to meet in a small setting with Rabbi Rosen to discuss important topics. Dinner is provided. These are monthly meetings on Saturdays from 7-9PM. Our next two events are April 14 and May 19. Please RSVP to Robyn.

Still not quite sure? New students will be able to attend the first session with no obligation, financial or otherwise, to continue.
SVARA's teen program is both serious in its approach to text study and casual and informal in its overall feel. A safe and fun environment is balanced with a rigorous encounter with text and the development of text study skills. Rabbi Lappe tries to create a sense of community among the students and between them and her. SVARA students have a feeling of being in something of a special club - one that is intellectual, spiritual and social all at the same time. SVARA meets once a week, beginning in the fall.
Teen SVARA is offered by the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, in cooperation with the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, Ezra Habonim, the Niles Township Jewish Congregation, and Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Synagogue.
