JRC’s 2019 Gala will feature live jazz entertainment, raffles, exciting silent auction items, plus our wonderful array of JRC member-hosted buy-in parties to keep you bebopping and scatting the rest of the year.  The evening includes a delicious buffet dinner, drinks, and desserts.

The purpose of the night is twofold: to have a great time together, and also to raise important funds to support our congregation.

Why the JEANS & JAZZ gala matters

Whenever we gather at JRC as a community, we strengthen our ties. The fundraising goal of $100,000 for this event helps fund the quality programs and services that we value as JRC members.

Keep the fun going all year long with Buy-In Parties

Buy-In Parties - events hosted by members to benefit JRC's Gala - range from exclusive luxury experiences to family-friendly bonanzas.  Our buy-in coordinators, Carol Hirsh-Blechman and Joan Dumser, are ready to help you create a great gathering to raise funds. To get started, fill out the form below. Carol and Joan even have ready-to-go party ideas if you have space that can host 10 or more of your fellow JRC members.

Help us have a successful Silent Auction

Did you know that restaurant gift certificates give us our best return at our Silent Auction? Print a donation form to take to your favorite eateries or pick them up at the JRC front office. Wine bottle donations valued above $40 are also very welcome for our popular Wine Cork Pull raffle.

The Green Synagogue and the Pillars of Chai

In 2008, we built the first platinum LEED-certified green synagogue in North America. The construction required 18 pillars - the number in Hebrew that also means "chai" or "life."

Now, more than ten years later, JRC has launched the Pillars of Chai Campaign to raise $4.4m to wholly own our beloved building.
