Hanukkah Family Service

Hanukkah gifLet's celebrate Hanukkah (a day in advance) and the start of a long holiday weekend together! You'll be able to eat all the sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts - a Hanukkah tradition) you can handle, because you'll be dancing them away to the tunes of Heavy Shtetl, JRC's own klezmer band.

This year, the service begins at 6:00pm so kids can go to bed at an almost-reasonable hour and grownups can have the rest of the evening to themselves, but don't fret about dinner. We'll have the sanctuary and social set up with tables so you can bring your dinner with you or a potluck dish to share (just remember to keep everything you bring to JRC dairy/veg and nut-free). And we'll have a few snacks for folks on the go. It's like we're bringing a little bit of summer beach service to December!

Date and Time:
Friday, December 23, 2016 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
