Community Shabbat with Guest Rabbi Rachel Weiss

Rabbi Rachel WeissJoin our Religious School families, Shabbat Minyan members and other JRC members for a warm, lively, spiritual worship service led by Rabbi Rachel Weiss, one of our rabbinic candidates, and Cantor Friedland. The service ends at approximately 11:30 am, but be sure to bring a dairy/veg dish for our potluck kiddush lunch immediately after.

Babysitting is available for this Community Shabbat service, but there's a catch: you absolutely have to sign up by Friday, January 29 at 9:00 am.

Friday, January 29: Preschool Shabbat
. Rabbi Weiss will help Cantor Friedland sing songs and tell a story to our preschoolers in the morning.

Friday, January 29: Erev Shabbat. Rabbi Weiss will lead our Erev Shabbat service with Cantor Friedland. There is no charge to attend - all are welcome.

Saturday, January 30: Torah Study. Rabbi Weiss will lead our weekly Torah Study. There is no charge to attend - for adult JRC members.

Saturday, January 30: Teen Pizza/Study Session. JRC's 8th-12th graders are invited to get to know Rabbi Weiss informally and participate in a discussion about the connection between Exodus and other stories, like Star Wars and Harry Potter.

Saturday, January 30: A Chili Night in January. Join us for a chili dinner and concert featuring Joel Frankel & Tall Trees. Tickets required - purchase here>

Sunday, January 31: Adult Study Session. Mapping the Wilderness: A Look at Torah, Tefillah and Life Cycles. For adult JRC members.
