What Are They Really Saying?: A Spectrum of Jewish Organizational Voices on Israel/Palestine

Part IV: The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)

Register>

All adult JRC members are invited to join us for a conversation with Eli Wald, Chicago Director, and Michael Anderson, Midwest Synagogue Initiative Director, in this open, educational dialogue.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is the only American organization whose principal mission is to lobby the U.S. government about legislation that strengthens the relationship between the United States and Israel.  AIPAC is a registered domestic lobby and supported solely by private donations from American Citizens. AIPAC is not a political action committee. It does not rate, endorse or contribute to candidates.  Rather, through lobbying and education, and with a policy of bipartisanship, AIPAC’s legislative agenda focuses on deepening the strategic relationship between the United States and Israel, addressing Israel’s security threats, developing anti-terror policies etc.

Chicago Director, Eli Wald, and Midwest Synagogue Initiative Director, Michael Anderson, will address the work of AIPAC, its history and priorities.

This facilitated discussion is the fourth of a series. Registration is required.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact JRC's Israel Programming Committee at [email protected].
