Picnic & Erev Shabbat Beach Service MOVED INDOORS!!

The forest is for rain, so we're bringing the beach service inside to JRC - picnics and all. Same great feeling of community but with a roof over our heads!

Pack up your family, friends and dairy/veg picnic, and join us for a laid-back, weather-proof dinner at 6:00 pm, followed immediately by our Erev Shabbat service led by Rabbi Weiss and Cantor Friedland.

Check JRC's Facebook page and your email for our updates!

Beach Services (at Elliot Park) - RSVP on JRC's Facebook page

Friday, August 19
We've got an awesome team to lead you in song and prayer on August 19. Rabbi Rachel Weiss started at JRC on August 1, and she will be leading the Friday night service with Cantor Howard Friedland.

Plant the seeds for our future and bring a friend to our last beach service of the summer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Rabbi Weiss and experience what JRC has to offer.

BYO Picnic Dinner - 6 pm to 7pm

Join us for dinner before services Elliot Park (Dempster Street Beach). Pack a dairy/vegetarian meal. Head to the beach area. Eat and schmooze with all your JRC friends.

Erev Shabbat Service starts - 7pm

After dinner, stay for our informal Erev Shabbat Services led by Rabbi Weiss and Cantor Friedland on the beautiful Evanston lakefront.
