Springfield Lobby Day

Register today>

Join Rabbi Rosen, JRC's Green Team, our friends from Faith in Place, and the Illinois Environmental Council for a day of advocating for the environment in Springfield. Meet with your Illinois legislators to discuss how we can improve the environment in 2014. The focus is on global climate change, and likely topics include coal regulations, renewable energy, fracking, and PetCoke.

We'll have a debriefing on these issues on the bus, which leaves promptly at 6:30 am. We should return to JRC at approximately 6:30 pm. Feel free to invite friends (even if they're not JRC members).

Cost:
$50/person for bus, training materials, lunch at the Capitol, and sack supper on the bus ride home
$10 if you take other transportation
$30 for students
(Some scholarships available)

Date and Time:
Thursday, April 3, 2014 - 6:30am to 6:30pm
