Noah's Playground Service (not at JRC)

Entrance to Noah's PlaygroundJoin your JRC family at Noah's Playground (Lawson Park near Lighthouse Landing) for our informal Erev Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Rosen and Cantor Friedland in a beautiful park setting. Pack a dairy/vegetarian picnic dinner and come early (6 pm) to eat and schmooze.

Noah's Playground for Everyone is a fully accessible playground dedicated in memory to Noah Cutter (son of JRC members Julie and David Cutter), who dealt with a number of special needs before his death in December 2005 at the age of 2 1/2. Julie and David spearheaded an enormous community effort to raise over $400,000 to build a fully handicap-accessible playground and improve accessibility to nearby Lighthouse Beach and its restrooms.

In case of rain: we always try hold out and go to the lakefront, but in case of rain, the whole operation - 6 pm picnic, 7 pm service - moves to the JRC Social Hall. So come rain or shine, be sure to join us!

Date and Time:
