Silk Road Rising Theatre "Semitic Commonwealth" (Not at JRC)

Please join Hands of Peace on Saturday, February 11, at the Silk Road Rising Theatre in Chicago for staged readings of two plays in the “Semitic Commonwealth” series, a group of six plays by Arab and Jewish playwrights exploring the human toll of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Our featured performance is Motti Lerner’s The Admission, which will be staged at 8 pm. If you’re able to join us earlier, please come at 6 pm for dinner at Roti Modern Mediterranean for dinner and a discussion led by JRC member Rich Katz.

Peace Dialogue Meeting

JRC’s Peace Dialogue serves as a resource and catalyst to JRC members in addressing matters of peace and justice.

Join with others as we identify how to move forward, individually and in a community, in the divisive political climate we now face. Everyone is welcome to discuss what we can do and what next steps we might take, individually and together, to bridge the political divide.

Peace Dialogue

JRC’s Peace Dialogue serves as a resource and catalyst to JRC members in addressing matters of peace and justice.

This week, we will address the reality of president-elect Trump. Join others in our JRC community who want to learn, listen, share, suggest and discover what we can do and what next steps we might take, individually and together, to bridge the political divide.
