Member-Led Erev Shabbat Service

We always look forward to the individual touches our members add when leading JRC services. Many thanks to JRC members Tina Escobar and Ray Grossman for leading their community this Erev Shabbat. Thanks also to JRC member and Navy veteran Harvey Nixon, who will speak about his experiences serving during the Korean War in commemoration of Memorial Day.

FEST Shabbat Service

FEST stands for Families Enjoying Shabbat Together! Kids and parents love our monthly 40-minute, song-filled Shabbat morning service with Cantor Friedland. Hear the Shabbat morning prayers and sing and dance along in a casual and cozy Shabbat service designed for the young spirit. Bring something delicious (nut-free and dairy/veg) for the get-together after the service. Everyone is welcome - bring your friends!

The Whole Megillah

Buckle up and settle in for quite a ride, because we're reading the whole Megillah! Everybody is absolutely welcome to attend, and even join in. If you'd like to be a reader (Hebrew or English - your choice), please contact Cantor Friedland at [email protected]. The indecisive can even show up and volunteer on the spot.
