Get ready to make some noise with JRC's very own Klezmer house band, Heavy Shtetl! The Family Megillah Reading is one wild hour of shouting, stomping, grogger-ing, and multigenerational mayhem.
Once you've made it to the end, stay for our New, Old-Fashioned, Home-Made JRC Purim Carnival & Family Funhouse! Click here for a complete schedule of Purim festivities, JRC-style.
Celebrate Shabbat with music and movement for very young children. We welcome everyone with a Bim Bom Shabbat Song, and end with a juice and challah oneg snack by hour's end. A great combination of original tunes and familiar chants in English and Hebrew. Everyone is welcome and everyone can sing along!
Sukkot is the Jewish harvest holiday, which commemorates the season in Biblical times when our ancestors built temporary booths - sukkot - to sleep in, eat in, and gather in with their community, as they harvested their bounty and celebrated. Today, we build these sukkot as a reminder of that time, and as an opportunity to share food and friendship with each other. We decorate the sukkah with fruits and vegetables of the season and artwork by JRC children.
The JRC Early Childhood Center would like to invite everyone to come help decorate the JRC sukkah.
Hey, preschoolers and kindergartners: put on your favorite PJs (parents, too) and join your friends for some cozy winter fun! We'll have Havdalah, eat pizza and hear stories. Everyone is welcome to get in on the party.

Check out our Religious School and get excited for the new year! Make crafts, learn to blow the shofar like a boss, and have a lot of fun. Everyone is invited.
If you're coming to see if JRC is the place for you, please RSVP to our Religious School Director, Terri Ginsberg Bernsohn at [email protected] so she can be sure to greet you!
