Shofar Blowing Class

Saturday, September 18, 2016

JRC's resident shofar aficionado Carol Goldbaum will be teaching a Shofar Blowing class in the small sanctuary. Learn how to properly call in the New Year for the first time or brush up on your skills. This event is BYO-shofar, but if you don't have one, a few will be provided for practice.

Community Potluck Dinner

Friday night services are a choose-your-own adventure at JRC! A short but sweet Early Bird Service will be held at 5:30 followed by a community potluck and full Erev Shabbat service. Come for the early service, stay for the potluck, or come have some dinner first and then doven at 7, or enjoy spending the entire evening with us!

Annual Congregational Meeting 2016-2017

All JRC members are invited to attend our Annual Congregational Meeting, during which we'll hear a "State of the Synagogue" report, as well as vote on the new slate of Board members and Officers for 2016-2017.

Please join us before the Annual Meeting at 9:30 am for bagels and coffee. The Meeting is timed to coincide with the schedule for the last day of Religious School, so drop off your kids and join us!
