Calling all 5th - 8th graders: are you the best chef in the JRC Youth Group? Or do you just want to stretch your culinary muscles in the company of your friends? Either way, join us for our Youth Group Cook-Off! It's free, but be sure to register, as you'll be assigned an ingredient to bring.
Gesher participants: join us Tuesdays for dinner followed by the Gesher program.
In this all-levels workshop, JRC member Carol Goldbaum will get you ready to participate in our group shofar blowing on Rosh Hashanah and at the end of Yom Kippur is invited to do so (BYO shofar).
For more information please contact Carol at [email protected].
Join us for our non-traditional Selichot program, in which we'll recite the ancient prayers of forgiveness as a community. Click here to learn more about Selichot, which many people find to be a moving and powerful way to prepare for the High Holidays.
Crossing the Threshold: B'nai Mitzvah Orientation- Part One
5th/6th Graders must attend with their parents! Parents, grandparents, tutors and clergy all play a significant role in guiding students on the path to a meaningful b'nai mitzvah experience.
Check out our Religious School and get excited for the new year! Make crafts, learn to blow the shofar like a boss, and have a lot of fun. Everyone is invited.
If you're coming to see if JRC is the place for you, please RSVP to our Religious School Director, Terri Ginsberg Bernsohn at [email protected] so she can be sure to greet you!
9th-12th Graders: join us for our first Youth Group event of the year! We will be brainstorming and planning for another fantastic year of youth group activities.
Free of charge for all JRC youth group members, including lunch - this is our welcome to an amazing year!
This scholar-in-residence weekend is co-sponsored by Beth Emet and JRC.
All programs are free.
JRC, in collaboration with Beth Emet, is thrilled to host Reconstructionist Rabbi Goldie Milgram as our scholar-in-residence this year. An accomplished spiritual leader and author, Rabbi Goldie will guide us, teach us, and lift our communal spirit.
