Join us at JRC for our annual Baby Brunch and Tot Shabbat service led by Cantor Howard Friedland. This celebration is perfect for families with young children. It's a way for JRC to welcome your new baby and family into our community, meet other families, and learn about our other Early Childhood programs and other JRC family programs. Please invite your friends, family, and any other family you think would enjoy this special day. Let us know if you want us to send them an invitation or contact someone personally.
Hey, preschoolers and kindergartners: put on your favorite PJs (parents, too) and join your friends for some cozy winter fun! We'll have Havdalah, eat pizza and hear stories. Everyone is welcome to get in on the party.
RSVP to Claudia Rozenberg at [email protected].
Bring the whole family and join us at JRC to celebrate Hanukkah! We'll have more latkes than you could ever imagine, and there will be plenty of other food, drinks and dreidels to go around. Make connections with other recently joined JRC members (and a few who've been around for years) and hang out with Rabbi Don and Cantor Howard in a relaxed setting.
Rock out for Hanukkah, JRC-style!
Grab your family and friends and join us for our much-loved Hanukkah Family Service, led by Rabbi Don and Cantor Howard! Of course we'll have delicious sufganiyot, and don't miss the performance by Heavy Shtetl - that's right, what other shul has its very own rockin' house band?
Join hundreds of people from Evanston's diverse faith communities to enjoy music, blessings and spoken-word presentations by representatives of many ethnic and religious traditions. This year's keynote speaker is Rev. Bret Lortie, pastor of the Unitarian Church of Evanston, with music from the combined choirs of Evanston's many houses of worship.
If you build it, they will come.
Torah of Reconciliation
Join our Religious School families, Shabbat Minyan members and other JRC members for a warm, lively, spiritual worship service led by Rabbi Rossoff and Cantor Friedland. The service ends at approximately 11:30 am, but be sure to bring a dairy/veg dish for our potluck kiddush lunch immediately after.
